About Chile's Route of Parks of Patagonia
Stretching over 1,700 miles from Puerto Montt to Cape Horn, Chile’s Route of Parks connects 17 national parks (soon to be 18) that protect 28 million acres of Patagonian wilderness. This visionary conservation corridor represents one of the most ambitious environmental protection projects in history, safeguarding ancient forests, glacial fjords, and critical habitat for endangered species like the huemul deer and Andean condor.
The route isn’t just about pristine landscapes—it’s about connecting communities, preserving cultural heritage, and creating sustainable economic opportunities through conservation-focused tourism. Project Patagonia celebrates this remarkable achievement while highlighting the ongoing work needed to ensure its long-term protection.

Where The Wild Calls: Patagonia Puma Expedition & Torres Del Paine Adventure
Expedition highlights
Embark on an unforgettable journey through Patagonia where specialized guides will lead you in search of the majestic "mountain shadow" - the powerful puma. This expedition combines wildlife encounters with Torres del Paine's breathtaking landscapes, featuring extensive hiking and kayaking to Grey Glacier. A special dinner with renowned puma expert Nicolas Lagos highlights this immersive experience.

Why Pumas Matter
The Patagonian puma (Puma concolor patagonica) is the apex predator in the region’s ecosystem, playing a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. These magnificent cats face increasing pressure from habitat fragmentation, human-wildlife conflict, and climate change impacts on their prey species.
By focusing our conservation efforts on pumas, we help protect not only these iconic cats but also the entire web of life that depends on healthy, functioning ecosystems. Pumas are also powerful ambassadors that connect people emotionally to conservation, inspiring action through their beauty, strength, and resilience.
